Totem \ | /

Totem is a project developed for Kolding Design School to create a more fun and creative environment for the students.

It's a totempole which plays music or tells stories when you move it around. If you stop moving, it stops playing.

The Totem was constructed in styro foam and is weighed down by a 15 pound bowling ball making it both light weight and bottom heavy. Inside an Accelerometer measures movement and tilt data which it sends to a microcontroller that controls the sounds.

Eyeswitcher

What happens if we suddenly see the world through somebody elses eyes. Do we adapt or do we lose control?

Eyeswitcher is a game developed for Danfoss Universe by Louise Springborg and Nils Koster.

With Eyeswitcher you switch eyesight with another person using camera helmets. You both have to navigate on a platform 4x3 meters wide all while trying to avoid and kill a virtual worm squirming around on the platform who's trying to eat you.

Each helmet has a PDA Screen mounted inside receiving a feed from a camera on the other helmet and an infrared diode on top registers your position on the platform.
